If President Obama and his spinners wont accept conservatives take on the failures and missteps leading up to the Islamic State and the region-wide chaos in the Middle East, maybe they will believe the New York Times.
Strangely enough, it confirms the facts and arguments conservative critics have been making for years now. What is also evident is that President Obama picked on the wrong people; the intelligence community is striking back by going to the media with chapter and verse of the presidents dereliction. The report substantiates eight key points:
1. Leaving Iraq with no troops was a disaster.
2. It was foreseeable that sectarian violence would return.
3. Intelligence agencies long ago spotted the danger that jihadists were spreading and threatening Iraq and Syria.
4. The president ignored warnings.
5. The president was driven by ideology.
6. The situation became more dire as time went on.
7. The president is not telling the truth when he puts blame on the intelligence community.

They say the intel community was caught off guard by the speed with which ISIS spread.
Well I remember that even Sen. Feinstein (chairwoman of Senate intel) said months ago that there was an alarming increase of militant activity in Iraq.
Lots and lots of lies going on. Even more than usual.
Good article, this is an argument the Obama/Clinton/DNC defenders put out there. Okay, if one is just plane anti-war, then it really doesn’t pertain as much to them, some people wanted out but even the anti-war types are pretty much Democrat defenders unless somehow they are your Ron Paul/Info-Wars and maybe even pro-Russian types.
