A drug case involving an arrest made by the Ferguson police officer who killed an unarmed 18-year-old in a separate incident is on hold while a grand jury reviews the shooting.
A judge approved a request by prosecutors Monday to send the drug case involving the arrest by officer Darren Wilson to a St. Louis County grand jury. But a spokesman for Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch later said that the case is "on hold" until Wilson's status is resolved. Spokesman Ed Magee called the move standard procedure in cases where police officers are not immediately available to testify in court....

Not available? He's on paid leave.
Holder and his black KKK won’t be happy until Wilson is lynched.
The defense would just make the case about the officer. If the officer takes a fall on the shooting this perp will walk.
I wonder what’s taking that grand jury so long.
So many areas of this country have lost their moral compass. I blame Obama and Holder. Period. Lawlessness begets anarchy.
What? When did this happen?
I know Officer Wilson shot an ARMED 18 year old, but someone else shot another 18 year old?
Weird.
No I think the drug arrest is a separate issue and the AP is just doing their best to weld the cases together in the mind of the public.
The cases are unrelated. He's being paid and should do his civic and professional duty and testify.
Remember them talking about the case last year that he won an award for? I think they’re trying to turn it around and use it against him. Right out of the Alinsky playbook.
Speculating...
No procedural errors in the shooting, officer vindicated, but the potential for public outrage could warrant an ugly response.

I know a bit about prosecutions. It depends on what the key pieces of evidence are in the drug case that is “on hold.”
There’s probably no time crunch to this drug case and if the officer is the key witness, his credibility will be restored after this other circus has left town. From what I’ve seen, he will undoubtedly exonerate him in the minds of any serious jurors.

I smell a Ronnie Earle style fishing expedition.
Sounds like a dangerous "perp" alright. How dare he object to having his car searched on private property. I would sleep better knowing he's locked up at state expense, instead of home smoking weed. /s
What?!?!
Do you think the MSM would really do that? I mean that is deceptive, distortion, and lying.
About 31 days....right before election. Gotta time it right.
Waiting for 4-6 inches of snow
..and the Black Panthers will migrate back to Kalifornia.
Yeah, I’ve been thinking the same. Waiting for cooler weather.
Most of this country lost its moral compass long before Obama and Holder came along.
It isn’t about him, it is about the defendant’s right to a fair trial. The defendent has a right to access to information about the officer that might sway the jury.
