TV personality Mike Rowe, a frequent Glenn Beck guest, posted on Facebook a short note he received from one Tobey Gloss who indicated he was “disappointed” in Rowe for his connection to Beck:
“Mike- you were recently tagged in Glen Beck’s post about being interviewed on his program. Do you realise how many people are upset about this because they despise Glen Beck?! Mike is a MAN he can take it.
IMHO, if some guy like Beck invites you to present your opinion, do it. Even if it’s in disagreement, it’s worth presenting.

Yeah, seems tedious and I don’t usually stay there very long because of all the popups wanting paid subscriptions. Glen lost his luster a while ago. At least for me. If I could find another link to Mike Rowe’s piece, I would have posted that instead of the blaze site.
It’s funny because I was just watching Mike Rowe on his Dirty Jobs TV program. He was “working” with the US Dept of Fish & Wildlife in their efforts to eradicate parasitic sea lamprey that infest Michigan waterways.
What he learned should go a long way in helping Mike understand liberals.
I’m often disappointed in Beck myself but I don’t blame Rowe for accepting the air time where he can get it and Beck gives him lots.

There’s a greater truth in Rowe’s words here we should all consider imo; I think his letter speaks for itself.
Mike Rowe is a class act. I’m not so sure I could have been as polite as he was.
I did a search for other sources, and while I was doing so I came across nuggets of Beck’s Values Voters speech in which he said Obama has been a blessing to us and made us stronger.
Words that really never had to be said but used to be applied everyday have now become such a rarity that it defies belief how far we’ve slid in this nation...
Mr. Rowe is old school, I’ve always respected him for being firmly grounded.

I listened to the interview. I didn’t know that Mike began as an opera singer. Doesn’t exactly go with his everyman persona. He also said that his “Dirty Jobs” royalties earn him “in the hundreds of dollars.” Glenn laughed.
