I know nothing about this particular airport. but I did visit another major airport for work.
In the instructions for getting to the office were the words “go through the hole in the fence”. We ended up beside an airplane within about 3 minutes with our escort. Our IDs were never checked and our bags were never searched.
Just from watching the news story and observing...I’m getting the feeling the security there is about as good as it is at power transfer stations or cell towers (which is little or non-existant)...great.
