Charlotte, NC --(Ammoland.com)- Yesterday, state Representative Mark Kellers amendment to House Bill 1243, strengthening firearm preemption to provide consistency for Pennsylvanias firearm and ammunition laws throughout the state, passed in the state House of Representatives by a 143 to 54 vote.

Governor Corbett will sign the bill into law when it passes the Senate. We would not get this signed by his opponent Tom Wolf if he were to be elected.
The preemption law passed (good).
The background check amendment failed (good).
