POLL: SULLIVAN SEIZES LEAD IN AK SENATE RACE
Breitbart ^ | Sept 23, 2014 | by CHARLIE SPIERING

After clinching the Republican nomination for the Alaska Senate race, Dan Sullivan has now surged six points according to a new Public Policy Polling poll.

An August poll conducted prior to the primary showed Begich leading Sullivan 43 percent to 37 percent.

But now Sullivan leads 43 percent while Begich has fallen two points. Begich suffered from campaign missteps earlier this month after his campaign was forced to pull a controversial negative ad.

The poll surveyed 880 likely voters from September 18th to 21st - right after Begich cast the deciding vote to defeat an amendment proposed by Sen. Jeff Sessions that would help block President Obama’s proposed executive order on amnesty for illegal immigrants.

I guess Alaskans aren’t buying Begich’s ads about his “War On Obama”. WOO!

Who’s Begich??? Why aren’t they using HIS first name? What a lousy article - assuming that everyone knows who these people are.

“War On Obama”.

They say that like it's a bad thing.

Mark Begich. He won Ted Stevens seat after Stevens was charged with corruption. (later dismissed)

He has been an absent senator who now claims he has done wonderful things for Alaska.

Votes with Obola 97% of the time.

In new ad, Sen. Murkowski says, ‘Alaska needs Dan Sullivan’
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2014/09/23/in-new-ad-sen-murkowski-says-alaska-needs-dan-sullivan/

AFAIK, Murkowski isn’t a conservative and she is supporting Sullivan. Can I safely assume that Sullivan isn’t, too?

He is what we are left with.

He is Karl Rove’s pick.

Served in the State Dept. A USMC Reserve Lt. Col. And Atty Gen for AK.

He’s not a bad guy. Just not my first choice.

Good! My very liberal SIL that lives in Anchorage was harping on how someone phoning for Sullivan called their home. As if calling her home looking for support for Sullivan was a crime. She was so upset and threatened the phone bank person with turning them in for ‘harassing’ her while she was trying to sleep. *sigh*

I would LOVE it if Sullivan won! She would be beside herself.

If he’s a Rovian pick then I wouldn’t vote for him if I lived in AK.

What I find especially heartening is the fact that PPP is not a Republican-leaning poll; in fact, quite the opposite: It is a Democratic-leaning organization.

And RealClearPolitics shows Sullivan up by six points in a recent CBS News/New York Times/YouGov poll of likely voters, 44 percent to 38 percent.

Another whining purist looking to and fro to moan and groan and complain and then whine some more.

Can’t be complacent. The DemonCRAPS got their Gov candidate to drop out in Alaska and join the “independent” on the ticket and the polls are now tied for that race. They’re trying to bring the Rat base out to vote.

I love how the media ignores this and how they are trying to steal Kansas.

Vote vote vote, and contribute what you can. Can’t stress this enough!

You'd rather have the Democrat and Reid as Leader than vote for a Republican??? What a doofus.

What has happened to the BRAINS that used to be on FR??

State polling is notoriously bad. But this result makes more sense.

Voting for a Dem is voting for a Dem. Voting for Pubbie (unless conservative) is voting for a Dem in drag.

If you take a look at the voting record of many Pubbies and their political stance you’ll see they are Dems in drag. Why vote for them? I’d love to hear your answer.

Voting for the lesser evil is still voting for evil.
