1) How will massive numbers of illegals be "dealt with rapidly" when demographics alone show hispanics will be a majority by 2050, even IF all illegal immigration was stopped tomorrow and their numbers grew solely from illegals having children?
2) I thought Texans didn't want "non-Texans from up north tryin' to move down here and act like real Texans". Please make up your minds. We could use some of those conservative retirees to move back here and vote Republican since you guys say you're sick of them... but now you want a massive influx of them? I'm confused.
I’m a 7th generation Texan on my mother’s side.. We lived in many states when my husband was still working and enjoyed most of them—even North Dakota, which was a cold climate, of course, but the people were very warm and friendly.
When my Okie husband retired, we moved back to Texas, and plan to stay here as long as we die.

It is not a matter of IF anymore like it used to be, simply it is a matter of WHEN?
I hope we can get our country back to the point where it is a matter of IF.....
If Texas seceded at this time it would be seen as a right wing rebellion, the leftists and their minority allies would probably leave ASAP.
Not all the Hispanics in Texas are democrats. Many of those that are would leave if it were an independent nation.
The real issue is could Texas defend it’s Northern border as well as the Southern Border?

I am a Texan. But I am also An American. I do not want to secede. Why should we, we believe in the U S Constitution. I propose instead throwing all the cr@ppy socialist states out. We keep the flag, the America trademark, and the Constitution. All states that feel as we do can stay in America and the others can make themselves a rainbow flag and come up with a new name for their failed socialite state.

Shouldn’t it be obvious that dealing with them rapidly means enforcing immigration law? So the only numbers that will matter are law-abiding vs non law-abiding.

Personally I think you'll get your wish that Texas will "secede", but not in the manner you intended. In a few decades you'll be living in the Spanish speaking Republic of Aztlán.
