EL PASO, Texas (AP) More than 700 infants may have been exposed to tuberculosis at an El Paso hospital over the past year by an employee recently diagnosed with the illness, health officials said Friday. The employee, who worked in the nursery at Providence Memorial Hospital, tested positive on Aug. 25 and was placed on leave, but she may have exposed infants and about 40 other hospital workers starting in September 2013, said Dr. Hector Ocaranza, the health authority for El Paso County...

Of course they’ll never admit it was brought over by illegals.
This is the scary matter, while people are crying their heads off about ebola, there’s the real threat that someone could bring antibiotic resistant bacteria into a hospital, and a lot of people could be crippled and killed by that germ, because the antibiotics aren’t working. What’s scary is that this could make it across our land borders sooner than Ebola.
Could be the beginning—I don’t know. Plagues and pestilence coming to a town near you.
Thank the kenyan.
Right after they accept culpability for Benghazi I expect...
Yeah, they will blame it on some anti-vaccine nut. But of course too many people will be too stupid to realize that you can’t vaccinate against TB anyways.
don’t expect the media to connect the dots here , or report on the dots.
In Europe at aged 11 you are given a small dose of Tb , just enough to not hurt you but to let your immune system to fight Tb.
What dots???
illegals and TB in TX.
Is there any dot, ? Don’t know but the media will not try to connect those dots to find out
Tuberculosis.
Just sayin’ the media won’t even see dots...
Oh, they see the dots. It’s just that it’s worth their jobs to connect the dots.
As Obola laughs at the White House,
“They all can’t get EV68”.
There is a TB vaccine. When my son was born in Germany I was specifically instructed (by the American doctors) NOT to let him have it.
The reason why is that the vaccine will make all TB tests positive from then on out. He’d have to be x-rayed and undergo further testing in the US because his titer would always show up for TB exposure. I asked why he couldn’t be vaccinated and carry a document explaining this and they said that the rules in the US would still force him to go through screening after every positive test.
That was 20 years ago. We can vaccinate our entire population against this now. But, at this point, the system is in place and TB isn’t considered enough of a threat to do it.
They offered it to my son at birth in Germany.
Exactly. Thanks.
