In his address to the nation last week, President Obama declared to the nation — to the world — that ISIS (also known as ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) was not Islamic.
Across the globe, jaws dropped.
It’s not my purpose today to cite chapter and verse why President Obama is wrong. Pundits have been doing that for days. Instead, I want to focus on the deeper question: Why is ISIS’ Islamic identity critical to its appeal to the Muslim world?

I can think of a thing or to that President Obama is not.
I’ve been searching my memory and I just can’t recall Obama or any other Progressive proclaiming that the priests caught up in various child-abuse scandals a few years back weren’t Catholic.
Well, they weren’t acting like true Catholics, so in a sense, you could say they weren’t Catholic. The problem is that ISIS is acting exactly the way true Muslims are supposed to act, according to their own scriptures. So there’s no way you can say ISIS is not Muslim or even that you can say ISIS is not acting in accordance with Muslim principles.
The problem is that ISIS is true Islam.
As long as the west allows muslim immigration to western countries, and this has been going on for decades, has trade, economic and political relations with islamic countries, our leaders can’t & don’t want to be transparent or truthful about islam.

And that is the flaw in thinking that we can arm and train one group of muslims to destroy another group.

Agreed, entirely. I would humbly add that what we (meaning not just the US - but much of the West) have forgotten is that without our economic health we are vulnerable. It's not just a question of what our strategy should be in dealing with ISIS. We need to be very strong economically, and very advanced technologically.

True, they do not represent all whites, but most whites denounce white supremacists.
But, what is interesting is that Obama actually thinks all whites are racists and no different from white supremacists.....just witness his comments on Trauvon, Ferguson and Jeffries.
I believe America's in great danger and most Americans don't even realize the enemy is within already and is in high places.

Two days ago, Speaker “Blank Check” Boehner approved the spending of $ 500,000,000 of US Taxpayer Dollars to “train” 5,000 Syrian Muslim Rebels in Saudi Arabia for one year. IOW, another Boehner Bailout Bill to Obama.
Here are a few discussion points that were NOT mentioned by Boehner:
* Each Syrian Muslim Rebel will cost $ 100,000 to train.
* 5,000 Syrian Muslim Rebels will be removed from the battlefields in Syria to a training site in Saudi Arabia for one year.
* The removal of 5,000 Syrian Muslim Rebels will leave their families with reduced protection from attack by Syrian Army troops, for one year.
* The removal of 5,000 Syrian Muslim Rebels will leave their families with NO protection from attack by ISIS troops, for one year.
* The removal of 5,000 Syrian Muslim Rebels from the battlefields of Syria will help both the Syrian and ISIS troops to more easily take over areas controlled by the Syrian Muslim Rebels.
BTW, did anyone notice if before the US Senate approved Boehner’s Bailout Bill yesterday, did any US Senator mention that removing 5,000 Syrian Muslim Rebels from the battlefields of Syria, was in effect, “Giving aid and comfort to the ENEMY” for the period of one year?

What he did not say is that the US is running the ISIS Show-
