I have no ill will towards you, but you need to understand, when you spend most of your time slamming the only party and its candidates that will even bother in trying to do the right thing, there will and should be someone to respond that all is not lost. The unrelenting negativity, despair and bitterness accomplishes nothing.
You will need to rely on some of those squishes if anything is going to change. Politics has ALWAYS been imperfect, messy and corrupt. It isn't going to change. I suppose I'm more of a realist, but that's OK, too.
A large organization is going to have all kinds of people, some are leaders, some are followers, some are doers, some are thinkers, some are the enforcers, etc. and we need them all. If you insist on only candidates with only certain view points that you agree with, your party is going to be very small. In a parliamentarian system, that can work and a small party can be influential. In our system, a small party can't survive.
