I was in OK yesterday for business. In conversation, one of the Okie CHL carriers opined that it is against the law to carry one in the chamber under OK CHL regs. That’s the only way I carry mine, I responded. Surely they were mistaken about OK banning one in the chamber. Any Okies out there who know?
Not from OK, but it sounds bogus to me.
Not being an Okie I cannot answer but that is asinine. I would expect that kind of BS end run regulation in a blue state but not Oklahoma.

I’m in OK and can state specifically that you were told a falsehood by someone who shouldn’t even hold a license if he couldn’t stay awake for the instruction that covers the law. Unfortunately, this is the kind of goober that’s found on the other side of many gun stores, spreading their lack of knowledge upon the unsuspecting.
No state which allows ccw has that rule.
