withdraw cash from ATMs in those stores

So, they go down the street to another ATM, get the cash they need ... and it's off to the "drug" store.

But they could still withdraw cash from the liquor store next to the weed dispensary...

Geezzzzz.... why not make the cards only good for beans, rice, eggs, milk, bread, fruit, vegetables, and the basic commodities?

That’s more than they need if I am paying for it.

You’re confusing SNAP with TANF.

Bill Schmill. Some Federal judge will just strike it down because, as everyone knows, Healthcare is a right... and these stoners patients need their meds.

Well you can bet this bill will never see the light of day in Reed’s Senate.

We can’t have anything upset his Gimmeedat constituency.

It would be just to inconvenient for his poor people to make a side trip on the way to get high.

I am not so sure about that. I believe Temporary Assistance for Needy Families should be temporary.

The assistance we offer should be for food and the most basic necessities. If they want more, they need to work. I am okay supplementing people that work and cannot earn enough. But the welfare lifers need a rude awakening. They should be forced to supplement their welfare with WORK or have it reduced.

I have no idea how much the EBT card can pull from an ATM, but it is free money ... thus free dope. When it is gone, they will go back to whatever method they used before their monthly EBT stipend kicked in.

Assuming that they use the proceeds from the EBT ATM transaction to buy legal drugs or is this whole EBT ATM problem just a political scham.

I, for one, would just get the most I could from the ATM and look up my local dealer.

Federal five year lifetime limit on TANF except for disability cases and children. Some states much shorter unless they work.

How about the no welfare for breeding like rabbits bill?

Cut em off at one child! Mandatory reversible sterilization for momma and daddy! Half payments for no daddy!

Yes, since they'd get about twice the amount for the money.

How about pee testing them?

Got money for recreational drugs, then you may not be so poor as you claim you are.

Five years is insane. Again, I have no problem supplementing people that work. The ones that don’t work need a little motivating to find work.
