Ted Cruz Was Right And The People Who Booed Him Were Wrong

Some of the things I don’t claim to know about the Ted Cruz-IDC kerfuffle:

1 – I don’t know what Cruz was thinking when he told attendees at The IDC Summit for Middle East Christians that “Christians have no greater ally than Israel.” Maybe he was baiting the crowd and looking for reason to walk off the stage. If so, he’s doing an excellent job being a politician.

2 – I don’t know whether it was only a “vocal and angry minority of attendees,” as Cruz contends, who participated in this “shameful display of bigotry and hatred.” The IDC says “a few politically motivated opportunists” were at fault. But since so many pundits – many of whom I respect – have taken to condemning Cruz, it’s fair to say that the reaction to the reaction is worth reacting to.

3 – I don’t know if it’s an affront – theologically speaking – to Christian denominations in the Middle East to hear that they have no greater ally in the world than the Jews. And I have no standing to judge whether the crowd was “reflecting the teachings of Christ” or not.

But when it comes worldly matters, here’s what I think I know: There’s only one country in the Middle East that doesn’t persecute – or allow persecution of – Christians. And, in today’s world, that makes them an ally of the oppressed.

As Cruz points out:

Those who hate Jews hate Christians. If those in this room will not recognize that, then my heart weeps. If you hate Jewish people, you are not reflecting the teachings of Christ. And the very same people who persecute and murder Christians right now, who crucify Christians, who behead children, are the very same people who target Jews for their faith, .”

This is the “new” era of hatred. All of those that hate Religion hate anyone associated with Israel and Christianity. They will be the first ones get put to death by those so called peaceful islamonazifascist muslims that are beheading children and killing women ad men for spite.

The knee jerk talking heads who disparage Cruz do not bother with his words or the issue. They simply try to defame him because he puts them to shame. Sour grapes.

Tat’s correct IMO.....they will be the first to get outed once the Islamic push picks up. Right now it’s all about iniflitrating and increasing their population in countries.

There agenda has remained the same for centuries...that will not change....When the Moores (muslims) had crossed over from N.Africa to Spain...They believed they were conquering nations to rule over them, bring about God’s Justice, and institute Gods order. This is the same agenda they have in mind still today.

If this happens once, it is random, twice it is coincidence, but three times and it’s enemy action.

I cannot believe CHRISTIANS would boo Cruz over this.

I am thinking more like a dozen well-places and experienced rabble-rousers, set in all 4 corners of the room, started up and sheeple just got caught up in it.

It has become quite sheik to trash Christianity these days.

On popular television shows it’s almost as if they go down a list of things offensive to Christians (and I might add common decency) to make sure they’ve been added in to the plots.

Ever notice how Islamic practices somehow fall through the cracks on the way to production?

There was one sit-com (supposedly a commedy) that focused on a mosque or some such.

Never saw one of the shows, but it’s my bet everything was framed to make Islam look cute and touchy feelie.

The members of the audience did not like the FACTS Senator Cruz told them, so they had to boo and try to insult him. They are too PC to see the forest for the trees.
