Just wait. Fly enough missions and there will be pilots shot down. Mechanical failures will occur. Pilot error will result in the loss of a plane or two.

Maybe we can all tune in for the American beheading of the week. Odumbo really is a putz...

An American serviceman falling in the hands of ISIS will not have a happy fate.

This is just one of the reasons that, if Obama is going after ISIS, he must implement the full weight of US military power. This is not a 3 year operation. He could run these guys to ground in three weeks.

He is not going all the way for several reasons:

1) It will anger his base even more.

2) He is personally ideologically opposed to this operation. He would rather not be bombing ISIS at all.

3) He wants to use ISIS to help topple Assad. If he destroys ISIS, Assad is stronger.

This is a problem that cannot be "managed" the way Obama sees it. ISIS must be destroyed.

The key is to remember that the current borders in the ME are recent political invention. Someone will be redrawing them again, soon.
