What you read is how the the author, Mohammad A. Salih, translated it into English.

Years ago I read something that made a lot of sense. It said that immigrants from other countries tend to be more Christian than the country they came from- and immigrants from Christian countries tend to be more Protestant than the country they came from.Obama has allowed most of this ancient Christian population to be slaughtered. An American who was president would be ashamed to his bones of having done that. But no small part of the persecution of Christians in Iraq happened back when Bush was POTUS - and he had an American army in Iraq at the time. I don’t know how he sleeps at night over that.
It doesn’t read like a 14 year old wrote it. It reads like a propaganda piece written by an adult trying to stir up support for a political cause.
To be clear...I think ISIS does this and more evil acts that we don’t even know about....I just am cautious about believing this particular story as being a true account of an actual person’s experience.
Perhaps. I am not sure whose propaganda this piece promotes or the motive though. I see no reason myself to disbelieve it.
I missed the part where she explained why they were not armed...or do DEMOCRATS run that society?

And the guy who wrote the article followed his employer’s Style Guide and wrote “gender”.

Agree, but I believe this story is fake. Why would captors allow them to keep cell phones?
