TOO BAD WE DON'T HAVE A PRESIDENT
boblonsberry.com ^ | 09/04/14 | Bob Lonsberry

Of all the times not to have a president.

As Russia casts it eyes across eastern Europe, and as the Islamic State spreads its filth across the Middle East, what a time not to have a president.

At least not a functioning president. Because that’s what we have, a non-functioning president. He slams the lectern and condemns Republicans as he calls for a $15 wage for fast food workers, but two days later he seems detached and bored as he discusses an outfit that curses him and beheads us.

We don’t have a functioning president.

Not just a president with no strategy.

But a president with no brain, no plan, no clue and no balls.

Yesterday, while prattling on like Neville Chamberlain that the Islamic State and its quest to kill or convert the world can, “with the support of our allies,” become a “manageable problem,” his vice president was shouting that the United States would follow these jihad bastards to “the gates of hell.”

A hell, by the way, where Joe Biden said, twice, they richly deserved to be.

Barack Obama read it off cue cards, Joe Biden shouted it from his heart.

No disrespect to Uncle Joe, but when Biden shows you up, you must really suck.

And that’s the deal with Obama.

He really sucks.

He is completely out of his element. He doesn’t know, he doesn’t care, he doesn’t really have a pulse.

When it comes to threats to world order – which mostly arose to fill the vacuum of his failed global leadership – he’s the dumbest guy in the room. And the most spineless. When the French and the British can see the problem, and their leaders stand to demand and take action, our opening of a criminal investigation into the specific head-whacker in the video seems somewhat flaccid.

But it is no surprise.

Fate has favored Putin and ISIS with a clueless opponent, a man whose only passionate ire seems directed at Americans who didn’t vote for him.

A white cop shooting a black teen, he can grasp. A Muslim whack job cutting off the head of an American citizen, he can’t seem to get his mind around.

While Putin brashly rolls his armored vehicles into Ukraine.

The Russians and ISIS have taken the measure of the American leader and contemptuously challenge him, showing no fear whatsoever of American might or Obama resolve.

He is a tall, big-eared patsy.

Nero fiddled, Obama golfed.

And the world is not that far from potential general war. Imperialistic Russia seems intent on regathering old empire, and the most malicious of the Islamists have established a Muslim caliphate, a theocracy that says to the world, “Convert, or die.”

And the White House is debating whether to grant executive-order amnesty to illegal aliens before or after the November election.

Russia pillages our banks and businesses online, and the administration is focused on dictating to our schools what they will serve in their lunchrooms and what they will teach in their classrooms.

The task of defending us has been pushed aside so the administration can stay on the task of oppressing us.

Obama stood there so smugly at the debate and told Mitt Romney, who had just warned that Russia was a significant world-scene foe, that the 80s had called and wanted their foreign policy back. The Cold War – the geopolitical jockeying between Russia and the United States – was over, Obama said, and Romney should catch up with the times.

Tragically, it looks like the times are catching up to Barack Obama, and it looks like the two foreign policy initiatives of his administration are blowing up his face.

Hopefully there won’t be mushroom clouds.

The first initiatives of the Obama/Clinton foreign policy were the asinine “Reset” with Russia, and the early outreach to the Muslim world. Obama spoke famously in Cairo about “A New Beginning,” a more respectful America currying favor with a more powerful Muslim world.

He followed the Obama doctrine: “Kiss foreign ass first, develop a strategy later.”

He did that with Russia and with the Islamists, they both laughed in his face and have set out to conquer the world.

And here we are, facing crises around the world, with a fool in charge. A disengaged, isolated, arrogant elitist who seems able to tolerate anybody but American traditionalists.

It’s too bad we don’t have a president.

Here’s hoping we can avoid world war until we get one two years from now.

I knew Obama would be a disaster back in '08, but I never imagined it would be this bad. It's astounding to me that there is anyone in America that respects or supports him.

To sum up the differences between Reagan and Obama when it come to threats to the USA:

Reagan on the fighting the Soviet Union in the Cold War…”WE win THEY LOSE”.

Obama’s inability to respond to fight ISIS in Iraq because he was elected as the get out of Iran President…”I’m right your wrong”. And he’s not going to change his mind.

He cannot put American forces there to protect us because his prideful ego would have to admit that his get out of Iraq policy was the wrong thing to do.

I believe he’s putting his pride ahead of the safety of America, he simply will not agree to fight ISIS.

We are defenseless with this mans price and narcissistic ego running this country.

We certainly do so have a president.

He was voted in twice, second time close enough for fraud, if that was the case.

Whining and whining.

He is just not that into us.

In “Audacity of Hope” he writes: “I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” The quote comes from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.

Maybe he will wait till the FBI can make a legal case against those ISIS hostage killers before he has the military bring them in.

I agree that it’s very hard to imagine anyone who still respects or supports this loser. But, it’s also very hard to underestimate the depths to which a Low Information Voter will go to keep themselves in that treasured Low Information status. I recently overheard a discussion in our break room, and astounded to discover that there is no unrest in the Middle East. You see, ISIS doesn’t exist. They’ve hired actors from some other Middle East country, Cambodia was mentioned, and everything else is just Hollywood special effects and camera tricks. All of this was done by “Those People” to make, (this IS a quote) “The One Perfect Man” look bad. Lest you think this was just a certain type of LIV, let’s just say that the discussion crossed more than one ethnic line.

The complete quote is even more revealing ...

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Menkin said this in 1920

That quote makes me think that he is neither bored nor detached; he is just trying to cover his enthusiasm for what is happening in the middle east while he waits for it to come to our shores.

Well in MHO, about half this country is comprised of Morons. They are the ones who voted for Obama twice.

In the 1950's, post WW2 America went full speed ahead in educating her children believing that an educated populace would keep war from happening. (again)

In the '60's, we young, educated middle-class Americans realized war was the fault of politicians and not aggressive people(s) and rose up against the politicians

They responded by killing us en masse (Viet Nam)

While the intelligent men were slaughtered, the intelligent women were being psychologically hi-jacked by feminism.

Fast forward 40 years (one to two generations) and the intelligent men never had a chance to reproduce themselves and the feminist women reared incomplete children

NOW they can manipulate us a lot more easily.

With some variables and minor rabbit trails ... I believe that whole heartedly.

He is quoted as saying right before he threw in for POTUS, "wouldn't the world be a much better place if I was elected President?"

He really thought that he as a Muslim, or brought up in that enviornment, all the world would come to a collective sigh that finally we have a good guy who "stands with the Muslim's" in the White House. Thus he turned his wrath to the R's. His enemies are not "core alquada", isil, or islamists radicals (he still has not uttered those two words together at anytime in his Presidency) his true unabashed enemies that must be destroyed are Republicans, especially teaparty types like you and me, we are the enemy.

Barry is our collective deer in the headlights.

A week ago the president didn't have a strategy. Now he doesn't even have an objective.

President Rspect is voting "present" again.
