Russian President Vladimir Putin sent the warning to Europe that if he wants to, he can “take Kiev in two weeks.”
The Telegraph reports: The Russian president reportedly made the threat to the European Commission president during talks on the Ukraine crisis.
Mr Putin told Jose Manuel Barroso: “If I want to, I can take Kiev in two weeks,” Italy’s La Repubblica newspaper reported, implying this could be the result if the EU stepped up sanctions against Russia.

Putin is telegraphing his next move...he’s going to annex all of Ukraine.
I don't know... I would guess three weeks would be more accurate.
But then what would he do with it?
I bet he can. I have a friend who has taken to calling Putin the leader of the free world.
I think he meant if they worked overtime and on weekends.
If necessary our Marines can do it in a day ....

Please explain to your friend that Putin can’t be the leader of the free world, if a good portion of what he is ruling over is “used to be” free world.
