As if the fearmongery and vitriol of UK, Europe and the US were not enough, the Middle-East's 'allied' leaders are now opining on the threat of ISIS. As FOX News reports, The king of Saudi Arabia has warned that jihadists could target the United States and Europe if leaders across the globe do not react to growing terrorist threats as Islamic State militants make advances across Iraq and Syria. "If neglected, I am certain that after a month they will reach Europe and, after another month, America," blasted King Abdullah, adding Cameron-esquely, "they know no humanity." Of course, this is quote ironic given the Saudi's funding of various terror groups throughout the region.

Obama will have plenty of time to surrender before they strike.

Maybe the King of SA should spend his own treasure and the blood of his subjects first....

Saudi Arabia owns a shedload of hi res military hardware, including Eurofighters, why doesn’t it use its own military to defend itself I wonder? Unless of course it fears defection within its ranks.

after a month they will reach Europe and, after another month, America

Are they swimming?

Any one of them who wants to can be here the day after he gets to an international airport in Turkey or Jordan.

Think about it. This supposed “POS” is talking to your president, because your president has his head firmly implanted. None the less, we can pretty much rest assured, the real POS won’t hear it.

I can see it now, an ISIS cell in the U.S. does something big, and Obama says, “It was domestic terrorism, not ISIS. Don’t jump to conclusions...”

Then it never gets labeled terrorism. It will be called work place violence or some such, so Obama’s record can remain pristine.

And yet the police chief of my filthy Marxist town denies members of the Great Unwashed like me the right to possess firearms...just because he can (under Massachusetts law).

“Maybe the King of SA should spend his own treasure and the blood of his subjects first....”

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and Turkey have financed and armed the jihadists. The king is playing politics. His stake in this is a pipeline across Syria to the Mediterranean. He is playing the US and Europe while still financing the jihad. He wants Americans to clear out Assad (and, indeed, Obama tried to do that and got shut down.)

As for Saudi Arabia fighting, they’re Sunnis and ISIS are Sunnis. The kingdom is only stable because nobody has rocked the boat. Actually fighting a Sunni led effort he financed would probably cause a wave that would swamp the kingdom. In addition, although the kingdom’s forces are formidable on paper, I strongly suspect they’re a hollow force with no strong desire to protect the country or the royals.

Frankly, I’m surprised he has said anything publically.

Exactly. They have one of the biggest air forces in the region. Why aren’t they dropping bombs?

The Saudi king remembers the Assassination of Anwar El Sadat, killed by his own troops during a military parade, after a fundamentalist cleric proclaimed a fatwa on him.

Are you kidding. The King of Saudi Arabia ought to know what ISIS is up to since he and Erdogan of Turkey are financing them.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iraq/11069129/UK-could-join-American-air-strikes-in-Iraq-and-Syria-warns-David-Cameron.html

In his statement, Mr Cameron announced plans to give the police powers to temporarily seize passports at the border if people are thought to be travelling to Iraq or Syria.

He also said the Government will push through laws to either force terrorist suspects to relocate from their home towns or create “exclusion zones” where they are not allowed to travel.

People returning from Iraq and Syria will also undergo a compulsory “deradicalisation programme”.

The statement came as British forces flew more than nine tons of assault rifle ammunition to Kurdish forces in Iraq.

Two RAF C-130 Hercules planes landed in Irbil, the capital of the Kurdish region of Iraq, to deliver the ammunition and hundreds of sets of body armour, helmets and sleeping bags.

The Prime Minister also said airlines will be prevented from landing in Britain unless they release details of all passengers on their planes.

“Tolerance must never be confused with the passive acceptance of cultures living separate lives or people behaving in ways that run counter to our values,” the Prime Minister said.

So is Saudi Arabia actually going to send their own soldiers and weapons to disintegrate ISIS? Or will they do like they always do, get proxies to fight their wars and pay mercenaries to defend themselves.

The US needs better "friends".
