I think it’s referring to the accusation that he used the word “coon.” I remember someone here went ballistic about it and wanted Zimmerman dead, dead, dead. The rest of us were quite skeptical that such a young man would use such an out-of-date slur.
She was caught eventually for the hoax, but not until after the requisite "anti-hate" candlelight vigils and gnashing of teeth were over.
My FIRST clue that it was a hoax is that NOBODY uses the word "kike" anymore.
I've never heard it in conversation in my 48 years on this planet.
I'm sure there are some 80 or 90 year olds who might use it, but hell, even Archie Bunker didn't even use that term.
And "coon" is also REALLY out of date.
As in 1930s- 1960s.
Might be a few elderly Klansmen who use it, but that's about it.
Remember the clown who wrote something like that on her forehead - only wrote it backwards ‘cause she was looking in a mirror? Idiots all!

Reminds me of a funny story that happened about 35 years ago.
I was at a nightclub and about 20% of the patrons were black.
So in comes my Thai friend by the name of “Khun” so I stand up and and yell out “Hey Khun!” to get his attention.
Man, did I get a lot of dirty looks from the blacks.
