I was watching something on Fox last evening, I believe Greta.
She was talking to some Pentagon talking head. She would ask a question about ISIS and he would answer using the acronym ISIL. I thought it was amusing hearing her continue using ISIS and he countering with ISIL. She was quietly making a point of course without saying it: we supported ISIS, in part, in Syria. The lying AHo..s of the administration try to obfuscate the issue by coming up with this inane acronym. I guess they never read A rose by any other name....

I don't say ISIS or ISIL. Both sound like cartoon characters or medications. Anybody using ISIS or ISIL is trying to obfuscate the truth. They are THE ISLAMIC STATE according to themselves. When the dictators in Burma and Congo changed their national names to Myanmar and Zaire, news reporters followed suit. They should likewise call them the Islamic State or Islamic Caliphate.

The Levant (The “L” in ISIL) refers to a 15th century European (French, specifically) name for an area that encompasses the Eastern Mediterranean, which includes Israel.

So the Pentagon spox didn’t make the name up. The IS people did.
