There’s a pattern to these things and it’s a very predictable pattern.

2. Area with Muslim settler population historically linked to terrorism
3. Kaboom
The NBC story does its best to dress this up as some sort of inexplicable event. It’s not. It was inevitable. If someone decides to join the Nazi Party, eventually he’s going to get shot in Poland.
It’s the way these things go.
Douglas McAuthur McCain, of San Diego, California, was killed over the weekend fighting for the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), according to the Free Syrian Army.
McCain was among three foreign jihadis fighting with ISIS who died during the battle.
“The threat we are most concerned about to the homeland is that of fighters like this returning to the U.S. and committing acts of terrorism,” a senior administration official told NBC News.
That is worth being concerned about, but we should be even more concerned about the ones who are already here.
McCain, 33, called himself “Duale ThaslaveofAllah” on Facebook and his Twitter bio reads: “It’s Islam over everything.” But how did this would-be rapper go from shooting hoops in a blue-collar area of Minnesota to dying in the civil war thousands of miles from home?
Slave of Allah and Islam over everything explains that. If we had a guy who liked taking photos of himself with Mein Kampf, would we be surprised or confused if he ended up in a Nazi volunteer battalion.
Then add Minnesota to the mix. Somali migration is the Trojan horse gift that keeps on giving.
After high school, McCain stuck around the Twin Cities for at least a while. Public records searches show several run-ins with the law. One mugshot of a Douglas McAuthur McCain details an arrest in 2000 at the age of 19 in New Hope on charges of disorderly conduct. Another arrest record – also from New Hope – shows the same man was arrested again in 2006 and booked on charges of obstruction.
Around 2004, McCain “reverted” to Islam, according to his Twitter feed.
Let’s fill in the gaps.
McCain drifted around and began getting into trouble. During that time he converted to Islam.
Sometime in between, McCain reportedly worked at a Somali restaurant in San Diego – African Spice – and was known around the Masjid Nur mosque, according to an acquaintance.
I doubt it’s a coincidence that he made his way to Somalis in San Diego. He was probably involved with them back home. They may have turned him on to Islam.
“Allah keeps me going day and night. Without Allah, I am no one,” read one photo post. Others took a darker turn – posts featured the black flag of ISIS and other militant propaganda photos. In September 2010, he posted an ominous image: “They are coming back soldiers of Allah.”
On April 3, McCain retweeted the full English translation of the speech of Abu Muhammad al-Adnani – the spokesman for ISIS.
Soon after, it appears that McCain’s travels took him to Turkey, a common jihadi route into Syria.
U.S. officials have said “a small handful” of Americans are believed to be fighting with ISIS.
It’s probably a much larger number than we know.
We need more of them. I’ll pay for their one-way ticket.

Unfortunately if you're going to appear openly Jewish, you need to be armed in New York. And Miami. Of course if you defend yourself, the yarmulke might be considered incitement in some venues.
He was carried on the ISIS roster under something far more Islamic (probably shortly after his joining this violent cult), but the media insists on using his birth name Douglas McAuthur McCain in a back-handed attempt to smear a great American general.

They should be encouraged to go fight and stripped of their citizenship as well as placed on a watch list.
Discipline and and a pork free life is what keeps the recruiting roles low in the target communities here in the US.

The Levant (The “L” in ISIL) refers to a 15th century European (French, specifically) name for an area that encompasses the Eastern Mediterranean, which includes Israel.
So the Pentagon spox didn’t make the name up. The IS people did.

SOMEHOW the SPLC will.find a way to turn him into a Tea Partier.
