I paid a visit once to the S&W firing range located near their factory a few years ago. They were fanatical about range safety (understandably)...so much so that they ejected a party that violated safety rules while we were there.
Just doesnt sound like a good idea to let a nine year old shoot an Uzi.

Especially in Fully Automatic mode.
This was done by an instructor??? REALLY? Even if the little girl, poor thing, had fired “several” times (how many is that 3?) this does not qualify her for full auto anything. Barely semi-auto. When I go out with a newbie I only load one round at a time in EVERYTHING. The reflex to flinch is very strong. The poor girl is now scarred for life and the man’s family is mourning. What a shame

A former instructor, it would seem.
It's for sale, I do mot have a G3
>>Impressive,and rarely seem IMHO.
It was pretty common the day I shot it. It’s just 9mm, its well-balanced, and it has full shoulder stock. Now, the M3 Grease Gun was another story. Squeeze off a 3 round burst and you never know where #3 is going!

Did she realize he had just set it on full auto????
Never really understood the concept of full auto, “spray and pray” but sometimes its fun to dump a mag.
The instructor was just asking for a problem with these variables. He paid with his life. Why would even her parents subject a little kid at 9 with this type of weapon.
Those comments on that blog are a glimpse into the immaturity
and coldness from the anti gun rights view. For ex. Wishing for
more deaths to gun owners while protesting to be against violence. It’s all control what you or I can do.
Darwin Award candidate.
The name of the range was the first clue.

I agree. It’s a fun thing to do every now and then, but I wouldn’t spend the money and go through the hassle to own anything that fires full auto..
Obviously, the 9 yr old was working for an anti gun group.
I guess arts & crafts summer camp was all booked up?
Death isn’t funny. However, how one dies can be hilarious. This has me laughing my fanny off.
Lucky she didn’t shoot herself or a couple other people with that thing. No, make that the instructor and not the girl because it was his fault.
The range is aptly named.
Been shooting for a long time and I never have wanted anything full auto. I’m pretty strong for a woman, but would still worry about being able to control it. A series of short bursts will always be more accurate.... I guess unless you are a special ops soldier with tons of strength and training.
