American hostages – especially Foley, whose brother was discovered to be serving in the US Air Force – were picked out for the most brutal beatings.

Hopefully someone in Britain is taking a serious look at how and why their nation could breed such rabid hatred in their Muslim youth population. Most adult Muslims who emigrated to Britain or France aren't jihadi fanatics - otherwise they woudn't have gone to the West in the first place. But many of their kids, growing up in a Western nation, are Stone-Age fanatics worse than anything to be found back home.

These young British-raised Muslims have been endlessly told that they need not assimilate, that they owe not the slightest shred of gratitude to their host country. They've seen the liberals of the West ridicule Western principles and freedom while making endless excuses for the barbarism of Islam. These young men know weakness and a lack of pride when they see them - by contrast, their local neighborhood imam's hate-filled rants are filled with certainty, not the endless self-doubt of the Western liberal.
