Syria? Hmmmm... isn’t that where Saddam’s WMD went?
stopped watching him years ago because of his smug arrogant attitude. Well it seems he has no changed one bit

It is a fact that Assad used chemical weapons, and it was a shrewd move on his part. At the time, Assad’s forces were on the back foot and looked like they were losing the war. His followers among the Alawites and the Shiites expected to see Assad and his family fleeing Damascus and leaving them to their fate. So Assad went all in to signal to his followers that he was going to either win or die. He did this by using chemical weapons, which insured he had only two options, Win the war or be prosecuted at the Hague. Once his followers gauged his determination, the worm turned and his forces went on the counteroffensive. They have been winning on the battlefield ever since.
OK, I was confused because it says 8/27/14 in your date line.
