"At no time in CPRIT investigation was Governor Rick Perry or anyone from the Governor's office a target," Walling wrote in the affidavit dated Aug. 20. "At no time did I ever obtain evidence that suggested any wrongdoing on behalf of Governor Rick Perry or the Governor's office."
What about the tainted nature of the grand jury? At least two members seem to have a serious conflict of interest...
Can’t a judge throw out any indictment on that basis? And can he sanction the two members of the grand jury for their hanky-panky?
No idea who you are, but you look good in the Gary Gilmore chair...
It might could be thrown out for that, I don't know. Since the investigator filed the affidavit that Perry or his office were NOT involved, the case really has no merit since that's what Soros' minions based the complaint on in the first place.

And can he sanction the two members of the grand jury for their hanky-panky?
They violated their oath as grand jurors, they could probably be slapped with contempt of court, but I think that legal process may start with Perry's lawyers.

I just hope Perry goes back after every one of them with a vengeance. This is nothing more than slander.
Thanks to this pile of meadow muffins, everybody does now!
It’s irrelevant...the goal has been accomplished and Perry’s indictment is record. He let it happen and by doing so proved to everyone he has no ball$!
Meanwhile Obama ridicules his critics by calling Fast & Furious gun running, IRS harassment of the political opposition, stonewalling on the release of internal memos, lying to Congress repeatedly, et al “phony scandals” and the attorney general has his butt covered even worse that JFK’s own bruddah.
Rules, honest and truthfulness do not apply to dumb-o-crats. If you think otherwise start with mac daddy and run through their leadership.
Time to move the Capital to another city in Texas.
What is CPRIT? People use long acronyms like everybody is familiar with the code. Just foolish and I find is disrespectful indicating a desire not to communicate well or to appear superior or smarter than they really are.
Tell us more!
Why can’t the Texas AG indict the Democrat fraudsters right back? You know, for “abuse of office” or whatever?
We're not supposed to alter the headlines, and that's the way it was written.
It stands for Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas.
As I understand it though, the law is all about process and timing. You have to wait until the first process is over (or at least to a certain point) before the next process can begin.
I really, REALLY hope Perry winds up 'backhanding' some people over this, though.
...Perrys indictment is record. He let it happen...
Really? How so?
You do realize they can indict a ham sandwich, if they so choose. So...how could Perry have not “let it happen”?
Thankss. I did not consider it your doing.
I’d have never known unless you told me and never have guessed since it seems so out of place with the indictments.
My comments stand.
