Much too quickly after the death of big Mike Brown in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri, the Trayvon Martin dream team -- ambulance chasers Benjamin Crump and Daryl Parks, media hound Al Sharpton -- descended on his still warm body like so many turkey vultures.
One would have hoped that their twisted performance in Florida during the previous two years would have taught America’s liberals something -- prudence, restraint, skepticism -- but it did not. Led by their media, liberals once again rushed in where wise men fear to tread.
As expected, the media insisted on telling the same embarrassingly fraudulent story they had told in the Martin shooting: innocent teen, academically ambitious, minding his own business, profiled by racist white vigilante -- this time a cop -- and shot for no reason other than his race.
Consider the Washington Post’s August 12 article on Michael Brown. Over the picture of Brown in his cap and gown was the sappy headline, “Mike Brown notched a hard-fought victory just days before he was shot: A diploma.”
At first glance, the article looks like it might have come from the Onion ....

It was reported this morning (and I’m sure most of you guys know this but I just learned it) on FOX that the cop received a broken eye socket from Brown before he shot the thug.
Also, I must say that in that graduation pix, he looks like a thug in a cap and gown.
After reading the Bloom book, I began to think that a whole generation of journalists may have to die off before the people in the media can begin to salvage their industry. If they keep hanging around Ferguson -- or sucking up to ISIS -- that may happen sooner than we think.
It’s very simple - leftists don’t think they jumped to conclusions on Trayvon. They still think GZ is a racist who hunted down and shot a black kid unjustly.
Author has it bass ackwards. The Trayvon Martin fiasco and attempted lynching of Zimmerman taught conservatives nothing about liberals, and especially about racist blacks and their handlers. Liberals and racist blacks on the otherhand learned quite well that if first you don’t succeed, keep trying.
You can't teach someone who has utterly no interest in learning. Ignorance is curable, but deliberate ignorance isn't.
The thing is that the Liberals do think that the my succeeded with Zimmerman.
A LOT of people still believe the big lie that Zimmerman was a racist white fascist who up and executed a black kid just for the color of his skin.
That narrative has fed into what happened in Ferguson. Had Liberals been unsuccessful in their Zimmerman/Martin narrative there would have been restraint, calls for calm and to allow the investigative process to work.
Instead we got over a weeks worth of riots based on a discredited but still accepted narrative that the cop up and executed Brown just for he color of his skin.
Trayvon Martin’s case taught me that it is racist to defend yourself from an attack by anyone black.
It taught them a lot: How to be better at lying and manipulating their moronic base as well as the mushy guilt ridden middle at the same time.
Liberals can learn?
Yup. They simply weren’t interested in the facts of the case, so they ignored them as they trickled out.
Zimmerman’s acquittal was not a demonstration that evidence beyond a reasonable doubt simply did not exist, in their minds. Rather, it simply reinforced their foundational belief that American justice is inherently biased against blacks, and in favor of Hispanics.
Sorry, sorry. I meant “white Hispanics.”

Actually, the liberals won with Treyvon Martin. Sure, they didn’t have the facts but they succeeded in a bigger way. Besides, a lot of them made a lot of money ...
No, I think that was advice given by the Captain about certain bars just before the sailors went on liberty.
