There have been several claims of a Ukrainian troop buildup along the border, and Russia has vowed to protect TransN.
Yesterday, there was an article stating that Transnistrian journalists expected to be at war by August 26th, because of some kind of an incident, from either Moldova or Ukraine.

Sure. Russia is going to be opening another front in other words.
"Transnistria is the only place in Europe that still uses the hammer and sickle on its flag. Now that Russia has annexed Crimea and is eyeing eastern Ukraine, many in the breakaway Moldovan republic hope that they are next on Moscow's agenda."

I guess if the Russkies are going to lose their attempt in Ukraine to create another Transnistria, they'll just use actual Transnistria to create more provocations.
Another rape by Putin.
Just like we said before, when Russia openly invades with its own Ground Forces, the Russian army in Transnistria would open another front behind the Ukrainians. Unfortunately for Russia, this gambit risks bringing Romania and NATO into the conflict.
