Tensions have been building along both of Transnistria's borders, with Moldova, and with Ukraine, for a month now.

There have been several claims of a Ukrainian troop buildup along the border, and Russia has vowed to protect TransN.

Yesterday, there was an article stating that Transnistrian journalists expected to be at war by August 26th, because of some kind of an incident, from either Moldova or Ukraine.

Transnistria is another Neo-Stalinist Russkie "separatist" creation, cut out of Moldova. They are under the complete control of the Russian Federation despite any claim to the contrary.

I guess if the Russkies are going to lose their attempt in Ukraine to create another Transnistria, they'll just use actual Transnistria to create more provocations.

Just like we said before, when Russia openly invades with its own Ground Forces, the Russian army in Transnistria would open another front behind the Ukrainians. Unfortunately for Russia, this gambit risks bringing Romania and NATO into the conflict.
