Three people were killed, including a 16-year-old boy, and sixteen others injured in shootings across the city between late Saturday morning and early Sunday morning, police said.
The majority of the victims--and most probably the shooters--in Chicago were black; the others Hispanic. And yet, except for grieving family and friends, a protest or two by some local religious person--nothing. Reverends Jesse Jackson Senior and Al Sharpton had nothing to say; they were silent on the destruction of the black family, teen agers having children, lack of fathers.
President Barack Obama (D), was too busy vacationing in his 1% locale to mourn the loss of males who looked like the sons he might have had.
Local politicians were also silent--except maybe to demand still more tax dollars for still more useless after school programs, before school programs, during school programs and maybe another scandal ridden "job training" program to explain their communities' continuing downward, out of control situation.

Statistics are meaningless when those in charge and their complicit media seemingly want a race war.
At least Herbert Hoover sent in Eliot Ness and the Feds when the Chicago police proved to be too corrupt and inept to stop the violence. Obama has a vaunted pen and phone. What has he done for his “hometown”.
The thug life is just part of the urban culture,so if it's your culture, your society, then it's totally acceptable.

They don’t riot because it doesn’t further the Obama agenda. Unless there is a white guy involved you can’t really exacerbate racial tensions. If there is a white or even a white Hispanic involved, then it’s a different story. Then the Regime can send someone down to spread rumors and innuendo. And I am not kidding or being sarcastic in the least. This piece of rat filth in the White house is EXACTLY why we are having riots in town like Ferguson. Ask yourself this: When has this ever happened before? And I’m not talking about obvious abuse like the Rodney King video. This is different - Clear cut case of self defense in Florida with Zimmerman, cop shoots robber in Ferguson, happens everyday, happened 1000s of times, but gee whiz anytime it gets too hot in Obama land as with the border, suddenly we have something to distract the press.
Where is the lyin’ king and his Monday morning “’we’ lost some folks this weekend..........” address?

That, in a nutshell, largely explains the deafening silence. Objectively analyzing the cultural aspects of Chicago’s violence makes liberals (and their fellow travellers in the “journalist” community) uncomfortable. They simply don’t want to open that can of worms nor acknowledge the real root causes of the violence.
Even in a slow newsweek, you’ll hear little if anything about the routine weekend violence and killings in Chicago. The media would rather allow the violence to contine than question the complete failure of liberal plantation policies.
