Horrible shame but whenever a heinous crime like the one this thread is about happens, black leaders can act consoling but sometimes you will then hear "black on black crime is much worse", and I suppose it is.
East St. Louis has been a bad place for a long long time, you certainly have your bad spots, I don't know if Ferguson is East St. Louis, I don't think so.
Blacks are 12% of population and commit 50% of murders.
