Another probelm now is that many of the foreign workers who had been caring for them have left. These foreign do-gooders have enabled Africans to not learn to take care of Ebola themselves, and these Africans don't seem willing to take on that responsibility.

At this point, the best thing that could happen would to not let ANYONE leave areas where Ebola has spread without being in a very long quarantine. Won't happen.

People traveling in Africa and Caribbean countries have to be careful taking photos, or else the natives will attack them for "trying to steal their souls." That should put the typical level of African enlightenment into perspective.
