Yes, this does sound a lot more plausible than what the friend said—the friend who also took part in the robbery. Of course, unless its testimony taken under oath from the officer, it doesn’t mean much.

Time to find out if those two other dudes in the tape with Michael are or aren’t the “witnesses” who are giving the story that damns the officer - Micheal’s companions just aren’t likely to be very objective observers, sorry.....

This case is a good example of why it’s best to back off and let the investigation out the facts before becoming overly upset. There will be plenty of time to trash the officer if he was wrong.

Some people will remember this case for a long time as evidence of more police abuse because the early reports damned the officer and made this look like an innocent kid. And then they never hear the fact that the cop might have been justified.

This still isn’t over. The office may yet be revealed to be a bad guy. We’ll see.

Isn’t that the truth. Even at this late date, when so many facts have come out, they’re just continuing to push the narrative and ignore the many many things which don’t advance it.

I’ve heard a few times on the news that the officer is white.

Hmmmm.

Jackson said Wilson was on a sick call from 11:48 until noon. While he was at the sick call, dispatch sent out a description at 11:52 of a robbery suspect, which according to the incident report was of a black male in a white t-shirt. While Wilson was still at the sick call, dispatch sent out a further description of the suspect at 11:57:47, which according to the incident report was that he was wearing a red Cards’ cap and yellow socks.

Wilson left the sick call at 12:00:07. He encountered Brown at 12:01 according to Jackson. Brown was dead by 12:03 according to the first live tweet of the incident.

If Wilson’s first contact with Brown was at 12:01, how did he hear/read the suspect description at 11:57:47 but after he passed Brown and Johnson in the street? I’m confused.

"His Chief of Police has contradicted him and said that the officer did not know about the robbery when he stopped Brown. Either the friend is lying or the officer is being set up by his departmental brass to take a fall."

Not necessarily. The original story was that he stopped because Brown and his friend were walking in the middle of the road. The friend said that the officer stopped because of that, THEN heard the report on the radio about the robbery, almost immediately after he had stopped.

I don’t know if it entirely crap reporting, but it sure is biased. They were taking the word of the friend without asking any hard questions about his background or involvement in the situation. So they had a source, just a questionable one and they did not alert viewers to that possibility.

Yep....And with that type of wound, through the forehead, it’s a good bet the suspect dropped dead on the spot nearly immediately.

It’s going to be nasty, as the witnesses are very questionable....Boils down to taking apart their inconsistent statements, if they made them, and I think they did.

If it goes to trail, and these inconsistent wit statements are dissected and proved false, they’ll claim the cop lied, and all the defense attorneys are lying...

If the statement taken from the cop matches physical scene evidence, he’s good to go.... But it won’t please the mob...

I’m assuming that’s Officer Wilson’s SUV on the left of the picture, and with Brown’s cap laying on the ground next to it, it looks to me like the struggle was rough enough at that point to knock the cap off his head.

We don’t really need confirmation.

Maggi...I think he heard it on the radio awhile stopping the kids, and likely they did too, which is why Brown pushed him back into the car when he tried to get out, and the fight ensued.

He didn’t know until he was stopping the kids, still in his car, over the radio, and the kid likely heard it too and why he shoved the officer back into the car when he went to get out.

"His Chief of Police has contradicted him and said that the officer did not know about the robbery when he stopped Brown. Either the friend is lying or the officer is being set up by his departmental brass to take a fall."

IMHO, two confrontations ... initial, and when he got more details and backed up.

“He pulled up ahead of them. And then he got a call-in that there was a strong-arm robbery. And, they gave a description. And, he’s looking at them and they got something in their hands and it looks like it could be what, you know those cigars or whatever. So he goes in reverse back to them. ...

the media does not exist to tell the truth

So, has this sorry story fallen off the radar yet? Has the next "decoy" tale arisen to cover up this crisis?

"Cop was dispatched to the scene because a guy was walking in the middle of the road (police chief’s report)."

I'm not sure he was dispatched to the scene because the two guys were walking in the road, but that he just happened to see them because he was already in the area.

Could very well be, speculation though.
