Leftists play hardball politics while some Republicans praise compromising with them.

Gov. Perry should be indicted for his new thick frame glasses. Ever notice how the so-called cool, trend-setting, hipsters all seem to dress alike (nothing trend setting about that)? Perry with his new glasses looks like he is playing “follow the leader” instead of “lead the followers.”

Actually, this is quite the opportunity regardless of whether or not one likes Rick Perry.

Until now, how many of us outside of Austin & Texas have seen the videos of the DA being arrested or while she was in jail, much less her knowing her name or her DWI arrest? Not many!

It's time the country via social media see why Rick Perry wanted her to resign. She showed no respect for law enforcement. She LIED either to the arresting officer or the officers in the jail. She used her title as District Attorney more than once hoping to have some slack cut. She was bat shit crazy. No remorse that she had crossed the median, only that the officer ruined her career.

No wonder he did not want $7.5 million for the state public integrity unit to go to the Travis County District Attorney's office. She has no public integrity.

Time to turn lemons into lemonade!

Corrupt politicians regardless of Party need to be sent to Leavenworth for 20 years minimum. I hate corrupt politicians. Unfortunately some liberals seem more tolerant of them just so they can gain partisan advantage. Nonetheless corrupt pols need to be expelled with major criminal sentencing.

These Politicians will sell out the USA to others if it gets them reelected. That needs to be ended yesterday.

It’s one thing for Zero to use Executive Powers to do something, but when a Conservative governor uses the same powers in his own state, he is indicted. How does that work?

I’m sure if I read the entire thread, I would find the answers. but THIS is my gut reaction. Zero will try to stop anyone who thwarts his war on America.

This may be a fraudulent indictment. But Perry in 2003 and again in 2011 had a chance to change the law so that the attorney general of TX has jurisdiction over statewide elected officials, instead of the DA in Travis County. He did not, and he reaps the whirlwind. I know it would have been hard to get state Senate approval because of the 2/3 rule there.

The complainants logic and use of the Texas Abuse of Authority Statute is that Perry used his office to abusively pressure Lehmberg into quiting her job. The legitimate gubinatorial veto power is not in question, it was Perry’s alleged public character assassination of Lehmberg that was the cause of the suit.

There needs to be an immediate counter suit brought against the prosecutor and Lehmberg in federal court for malicious prosecution with intent to prevent Perry’s constitutionally protected speech and campaign activity.Perry portrayed the TRUTH about Lemberg. She did herself in and can blame no one but herself.

That federal law suit should be started yesterday with an immediate order to stay the indictment until the federal court can review the case and order otherwise.

Look at the Lehmberg videos April 12 & 13 2013 ( LAST YEAR):

District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg’s arrest:

How can Perry be blamed for Lehmberg’s own conduct?

Travis County to pay for prosecutors in Perry, Lehmberg cases, but nobody knows how much
Mashhood, Farzad. McClatchy - Tribune Business News [Washington] 11 Sep 2013.
(no link)

(extract)
“...The county is responsible for paying the pair of special prosecutors examining whether Lehmberg’s post-arrest behavior constituted obstruction, and whether Gov. Rick Perry broke any law when he threatened to veto funding for the DA’s Public Integrity Unit unless Lehmberg resigned. ...”

(snip)

“...The criminal cases are both before a special grand jury, impaneled last week. ...”

Am I reading this right? Did the same Grand Jury hear both cases?
