A suburban St. Louis police chief on Friday identified the officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager ignited days of heated protests, and released documents alleging the teen was killed after a robbery in which he was suspected of stealing a $48.99 box of cigars.
Ferguson, Mo., Police Chief Thomas Jackson said the robbery took place just before noon on Saturday at a convenience store roughly 10 minutes before a police officer identified as Darren Wilson fired the bullet that killed Michael Brown. Police say that the shot was fired after a struggle touched off by Wilson's confronting Brown. Jackson said Wilson is a six-year veteran with no disciplinary action on his record.

Covered very well here with pics and vids;
The deceased man, was 300 lbs, 6'4”, high on drugs of some sort....fighting for control of the officer's gun, and for that matter probably the police car
Contains a lot of text, pictures, and videos, so it takes a while to load. But it's worth it.
Sounds like it was written by the robber’s lawyer.
Yep, Mike looks “gentle” to me; but the standards of ISIS that is. Looks like he loves to intimidate smaller people.
Gezz, and he couldn’t even steal good cigars!
I couldn't stand to watch CNN after noon to 1 pm PDT. It was too embarrassing.
The blond bimbo in the red dress and the black guy in the black sports shirt are hard to describe.
The are certainly not news reporters. They are either commentators at best, wannabe assistant defense lawyers at worst. They were trying the cop involved on TV based on their ignorance and opinion and nothing else. The entire CNN News team at the studio and in the field were using the same playbook.
They accused the police leadership of tearing down the life and character of the dead hood, while simultaneously doing exactly that to the (as yet at the time) unidentified policeman involved in the shooting.
WTF?
With a totally straight face they casually mentioned that they (CNN) had sent out investigators to put the policeman's life under a microscope, interview his family and friends, etc.
Never occurred to them to do the same to the dead hood. Sometimes first impressions are correct. Every photograph of the dead hood conveys an image of anger, attitude, a sense of entitlement and protected status, above the law.
To date, CNN has not reported the dead hood's answer to the cop when he was asked to stop blocking vehicular traffic : "F.U."
I planned to make a transcript of the so-called "news reporting" by CNN today. It borders on unbelievable and I may do that eventually. I saved a couple of hours of video. Still shaking my head.
Ya think??
This poor unarmed teenaged boy was 6-4 and over 300 pounds!
