Sarah Palin is throwing her support behind Tea Party favorite Joe Miller in the looming Republican primary for the Alaska Senate race.
The former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential nominee announced her support Friday in a written statement, provided to Fox News.
The statement said:
"To restore liberty, to defend our Constitution, to build American exceptionalism, we must send fighters to the U.S. Senate who will stop Barack Obama's fundamental transformation of the nation we love. The status quo has got to go, and in Alaska the man who understands this key to our state and country's future also has the guts, wisdom, experience and optimism to fight for what is right -- and win.
"We said we'd send the good guys in Washington their reinforcements...

I hope he gets it this time. The GOPe cheated him out of it the last time.
PING to Palin endorsement in Alska!
I think she made the right pick for this race.....
My exact thoughts.
I hope he has learned something from the dismal campaign he ran last time. Too many people vote with feeeeeeeeeeelings and not with brains. You have to come across as likable.
The Incestuous Relationship between Big Oil, Big State Government and Big Federal in Alaska is deep, you might as well rename them King Joffery.
Anything that threatens the Uniparty will be terminated.
With Extreme Prejudice.
Joe Miller for the win

Never forget.
We all are aware of that.
The Palin’s have put it behind them, why don’t you?
Palin supports conservatism therefore Joe Miller.
Go Miller!
No thanks. Miller ran a terrible campaign last time and I see no reason to think he is anyway prepared to defeat Begich in what could be a tough general election. At least he has now said he will support the eventual nominee.
Looks good.
Because political traitors can never be trusted ever again.
You haven't learned that lesson, after all these years following politics on this board?
There was much emphasis on “winning at any cost” on the part of the Murkowski team, and it would appear that many of the challenges that Miller made to the validity of the write-in votes were dismissed, or a very broad interpretation of the spelling of the name “Murkowski” was allowed, even if it looked like “Minnie Mouse”.
This time, it looks like many of the vagaries and uncertainties of Miller’s dealings with the Fairbanks North Star borough attorneys have been fully resolved. There was a finding on “no liability”. The suit left a lot of people with their bare faces hanging out, after they had released information from Miller’s personnel files.
Currently Miller is running third in a three man race so it’ll be interesting if this has any impact on that. And if Miller comes from behind and wins the nomination will one of the other two run as an independent?
LOL get over yourself
With that attitude, is it any wonder that Conservatives get rolled every election cycle?
Hay T Rattler you’re known to be an agitator here...with THAT attidude...That’s right attiDude dude...
Ya think that is the reason conservatives get “rolled?”
‘Cause of what I think of you? LOL
