They can go piss up a rope, we lose NOTHING if a few of those marxist/anarchists get their noses bloodied.
Which is exactly what the Ferguson PD was trying to prevent the night before, but some folks simply can’t grasp riot scene and aftermath dynamics.
Something you won't hear from our pres_dent, ever. This is the definition of riot-quelling protocol-101...
LOL, yeah, some of us will never know...
And some of us will.
“I simply said that when they police shoot tear gas canisters a members of the media who are acting peaceably and doing their job, it is a police riot.”
—
I wasn’t aware that they did that to the media-—I just saw the McDonald’s face-off and didn’t see tear gas.
As an earlier poster noted,”The fog of war”..
.
I’m not sure if I am comfortable with letting a police officer determine the mindset of a reporter and tear gassing him if the officer thinks the reporter does not fully advocate the state.
Bull stuff!
When ordered to disburse, the press is not absolved from following officer’s orders.
I think a couple of them from AL Jazeera were arrested breaking and entering a building too... at least I read that somewhere.
Oh please. You lap dogs for the police are all alike. Don’t you realize the implications, the police demanding folks get off the street because rioting may start again when the protests heat up. This will prevent lawful protests everwhere from now on. You make me so angry!!!!!
Why are you here?????
/s
I think it’s funny. Folks can’t tell if the cops caused the violence, but they are absolutely sure as can be what ended the violence. Gag me...
But thats not really what happened here, is it.
If the officers have asked the crowd to disburse, I think the press is fair game if they are simply giving the people who refuse to obey the officers instructions, a reason to stay and perform.
It would be interesting to know what percentage of those heroic protesters have new televisions, hair extensions, and many other things laying around on their couch in the living room today.
This is why I think the protesters were fair game. Number one the police wanted to make sure they remained safe. Looters can be violent. They didn’t want the protesters to get worked up protesting and start looting.
Isn’t it amazing how fast people change from being problematic (looters to protesters) to being righteous citizens, when someone hates the police?
These bastards have hid behind the 1st Amendment while willfully frittering it away for far too long now. They have cheered on one side for years and have put the general public at risk indirectly costing God knows how many innocent lives.
Now they want to actively become part of the story. Let em take the same physical risks their inner city allies are taking. No tears from me if any of em get caught in the crossfire.
Not a single one of them would willingly walk a mile on any Martin Luther King Blvd in America on a Saturday night either. Not for a million bucks!
I suspect you and I both would come to the aid of a member of the press who was in danger. This was unlawful assembly we’re talking about, so my radar goes off against the reporters here. If the police were shooting tear gas in their direction, I suspect they were close to the protesters, perhaps standing with them. That’s not a good idea.
Human shield? On purpose? Who knows...
Notwithstanding all of this I would take a risk to help another human being in danger. A free and fair press is worth risking life and limb for, as well. But the frauds calling themselves journalists who bring us the news on the alphabet channels are not.
“This is about human rights, about human beings, she cried. It takes cooperation our youth are out here without guidance, without leadership.
Add without fathers, so whose fault is that?
And just who is this "Leadership Fairy" of which you speak?
The people at McDonalds refused to produce ID. I think at least one was from Huffington Post.
” I think at least one was from Huffington Post.”

Probably too embarrassed to admit it.
