The officer is BLACK. I saw one news story claiming that the black Darren Wilson, who is head of minority something-or-other on the Ferguson force, is NOT the officer who was involved in the shooting.
Don't know that for sure. I just saw an editor's note on a newspaper story asserting that they were two different men.
