Hamas Executes Tunnel Diggers to Protect Site Secrecy
The Clarion Project ^ | Tue, August 12, 2014 | staff

To prevent the diggers of Hamas’ tunnels from revealing their locations, Hamas recently executed dozens of diggers, according to a report.

The report sites sources in Hamas-controlled Gaza, who revealed that the executions took place even after the terrorist organization took a number of steps to prevent site locations from leaking out. Workers, who routinely dug between 8-12 hours a day for a salary of $150-300 per month, were taken blindfolded to and from the tunnel excavations.

In addition, diggers were strip searched to make sure they had no cameras or recording devices hidden in their clothing or on their bodies, according to a former digger who is now an informant.

The workers’ Hamas handlers always kept their faces covered and were referred to by their first names or by codes, he said.

“Anyone they suspected might transfer information to Israel on the tunnels was killed by the military wing,” another source revealed. “They were very cruel.”

Hamas began digging tunnels four years ago. Money for the construction of the tunnels comprised 40 percent of Hamas’ entire budget. The tunnels, found by Israel in the recent operation to prevent Hamas missile fire into Israel, were dug to the depth of 18-25 meters (60-82 feet), with one reaching the depth of 35 meters (115 feet -- the equivalent of a 10-story building).

It was a humanitarian gesture. They wanted the workers to avoid any lingering symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome.

Ba da bump.

This is a war crime. Can we not report this to the International Court? Israel is forcing Hamas to execute its workers.

“Did anybody else place a Craigslist ad for new Tunnel Diggers Needed in Gaza (full benefits!)? I’m not getting any responses to the one just posted last week.”

Maybe if we add more Insurgent Testimonials of how solid the tunnels are, on second thought, leave that part out.

The Mongols did that to the people who buried Ghengis Khan, too, so no one would ever find the site.

The Bid Dig in Boston.

And indeed it was! The crappiest digger, with the lowest bid, got to dig.

Not surprised. Sean Hannity exposed the tunnels themselves over a week ago.

One would need sources, in order to make a complaint. This article vaguely says:

according to a report

Does not say where the report comes from. If one looks through links, one finds:

a report on the Mako website’s army blog said

That is an Israeli army website in Hebrew, and:

There was no independent confirmation of the report ...
