The decision is Vesely v. Armslist, LLC (7th Cir. Aug. 12, 2014). Heres the Brady Campaigns theory:
On April 13, 2011, Jitka Vesel, a 36-year-old immigrant from the Czech Republic was shot and killed by Demetry Smirnov, a Russian immigrant residing in Canada who had met Jitka online a few years earlier. Smirnov stalked her to her workplace parking lot where he shot her 11-12 times with a .40-caliber handgun .
The complaint alleges that [Smirnov] illegally purchased from a private seller whom he located through armslist.com, an online gun auction site owned by defendant Armslist, LLC. The complaint alleges that the websites design facilitates illegal gun sales to unlawful gun buyers with no background checks and no questions asked, and encourages and enables users to evade laws that allow private sellers to sell firearms only to residents of their own state by enticing prospective buyers to search for and find gun sellers throughout all 50 states

Good!
I am tired of the continual assignment of blame for bad acts to people or organizations that bear NO responsibility. This is a perfect example of an attempt to do this, and I am gratified that common sense and legal precedent won the day.
What they were trying to do is shut armslist down due to legal costs.
Always good news when Brady or Bloomberg lose.
AKA lawfare.
Armslist isn’t the only site like that. I use them fairly often and also Texasguntrader.com
We have to win a thousand of theses every day just to maintain our position against the relentless and well funded Leftist lobbying orgizations.
We can either go on the attack with our own organization just as aggressive and well funded as theirs or this is going to basically be a defensive(thus doomed to be lost) war.
Unfortunately with the Federal Constitution now all but dead(Thank Roberts) this is very much an open battle field from now till the ‘democracy’ that has been substituted for our Constitutional republic.
A Female Clinton Appointee Judge just ruled that Maryland’s Assault Weapon Ban is Constitutional.
Here we go again.
