The only unconfirmed picture thought to be of the shooting decedent shows him on stage holding a guitar at a blues festival. But his name is common, so it may not be him.

I grew up in Holly Springs and drove back last week and made a point to go by this house. He was a strange dude, looks more like the Honky Tonk man than Elvis with his slicked back hair. Even named his son Elvis. Here is Graceland from last week:
