A United Launch Alliance Atlas 5 rocket will launch the WorldView 3 Earth observation satellite for DigitalGlobe. The rocket will fly in the 401 vehicle configuration with a four-meter fairing, no solid rocket boosters and a single-engine Centaur upper stage. Delayed from mid-2014. [May 25]

Well this means you won’t be able to hide anything from your friendly county property assessor.

Used to be if it wasn’t visible from the road there was an excellent chance you could put a small out building on your property without a building permit or it showing up on your property tax assessment.

Now the tax assessment folks will be able to look at your property from space and compare the satellite picture of your property with your tax assessment description and wham bam thank you sir you a down for all of those improvements to your property.

It would warm my heart to see Google tank. What next? Google Voice? Wanna hear inside your neighbors home? Introducing Google Audio Snoop. Nobody snitches better. Seriously they seem to have serious personal privacy ethics issues. I have an idea. What about Google Cams in the CEO’s home in every room?

Only when you’re sunbathing. Satellites aren’t really at a good angle for face seeing. Now if they can identify you by your bald spot...
