War On Terror: Having ignored Iraqi pleas for air strikes in ISIL's infancy, when the terrorists could have been decimated, the administration ignores the Kurdish peshmerga plea for the same American weapons that ISIL has.
Watching the modest airstrikes on ISIL forces, we are reminded of Secretary of State John Kerry's promise that any military action in Syria would be "unbelievably small." As it turned out, it was also nonexistent, and the carnage continues in the country where ISIL formed and trained under our watchful and indifferent eyes.
The targeted airstrikes ordered by President Obama last week near the Kurdish city of Erbil in northern Iraq, where we have a consulate, as ISIL forces lay siege to thousands of hungry Yazidi and Christian refugees in the mountains of northern Iraq, are welcome.
But they fall far short of what can be or could have been done if we really wanted to stop ISIL, considered by many a greater long-term threat than al-Qaida.

It’s time to bomb mecca.
A laser guided bomb or 1000 lb. cement block dropped on the Kaaba would be a good start, with warnings that the explosive power of the next one will be exponentially greater unless ISIS disbands and that they surrender their war criminals to the Iraqi and Syrian authorities.
Our Sunni Muslim president will hold off until all is lost and then he will come with too little too late .... remember Benghazi?
Nuke them from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure...
And that would help the Kurds how exactly?
Either bomb it now or tell the Saudis and the rest of the lead countries of the muslim world that operational sorties by B-2s will continue until the plug is pulled on ISIS. Someone is training and equipping them. That entity must be neutralized.

Obama doesn’t want to stop ISIL. He is just a bit upset not that they are murdering people, just that they do it in such public ways.
Really? I thought he was more concerned about some AIDS stricken christian nation not reconpgnizing gay marriage.
