Methinks you’re right. The current decedent is being referred to as an “unarmed teenager,” who was shot and killed after an altercation with the police. However, as with the media’s description of the Martin affair, there is no description of the surrounding circumstances that led to the shooting. That very failure to give full details says it was probably a justifiable homicide, given all the as yet undisclosed facts.
