Kids crossing, wearing Obama sneakers, makes one feel that this was very much a planned incident. One really wonders, or am I alone on this, that these parents bought (or got a pair of them somehow) these shoes, possibly, with the understanding that their children would be given access to citizenship if they were wearing them when they arrived? I know from experience that in countries south of the border, under-the-table-deals are the only ones officially honored. You can talk all you want, make all the treaties you want publicly, but it’s the off-the-radar ones that stand.

If it were really true, the photos would be plastered all over the left wing rags front pages but... if the “unaccompanied minors” are really 14 year old male gang members... then there would be an outcry.
