During a press conference Wednesday, President Obama once again spoke about the possibility of taking executive action to deal with the crisis at the southern border. He was asked by ABC's Jonathan Karl whether he feels a "duty" to push the limits of executive power since Congress is failing to act.
Obama maintained he is bound by the Constitution and the confines of his executive power, but said the American people don't want him to "twiddle his thumbs" and wait for Congress to agree on comprehensive immigration reform.
There continues to be hints that Obama will use executive power to grant amnesty to immigrants who have crossed into the U.S. illegally.

Obama won’t grant amnesty before the election, because that would cause a backlash against the democrats.
He may not doing anything more than he currently is doing, including talking a lot about doing something that remains undefined.

I love how they keep using that phrase "immigration reform". The ONLY immigration "reform" that needs to happen is we ENFORCE OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS! There is this device called a "bus". Cities all over the US use them every day to transport millions of people. When people decided to cross the border illegally, you throw them on a bus and drive the F back over the border, and you keep doing it over and over and over until they get the idea that we do NOT want them here if they are going to break US immigration laws INSTEAD OF ENCOURAGING THEM!
Its clear to anyone with an IQ above 90 it is the democrat SENATE that is holding up legislation, and Karl's question implying that Obama must act to move things forward plays right into the administration's obvious sham.

I heard a talking head this morning, on Fox I think, and I don't recollect who, who said that they thought he would do it because it would "motivate the base" for November.

We are in mindbogglingly risky times and it will almost certainly play out worse than the 1940’s. Biblical proportions. Probably Ezekiel 39 and Revelation proportions. Seriously.

I actually question just how man “us” are even out there? Not to mention any ‘who’ might lead anything which would make any impact.
Although Cruz is making waves he doesn’t yet have the tide behind him and ‘time’ isn’t going to wait til that happens.

Agreed. It may be akin to the Trillion-dollar coin to "pay off" some National debt, or go on a spending spree.
