While I agree Olog-hai this is not the same Liberal Party as that run by John Howard. Now I am not being critical but Tony Abbott is a conservative Catholic and I am afraid they have not been as supportive of Israel as some conservative Protestant Churches! I have wondered how this government would act towards Israel - it seems now I might have a better insight!

Israel 9 years ago made 30,000 Israelis homeless and took their businesses away so Gaza would be independent.
The Israelis were setup in relocation shelters until housing
Not the Homes or farms they had but public housing.
The process went on for years until they were all out of the relocation shelters.
The Gazans soon had their protectors Fatah brutally murdered by Hamas in a Coup.
After that Hamas eventually was elected by intimidation and bribery.
Fast Forward. Hamas has over the years hit Israel’s civilians with 10,000 missiles. Where was the cry about civilian targets, disproportional force, since Israel could have struck back hard but instead didn’t protect their people.
Eventually the Labor libs were tossed out and Netanyahu came into the office of PM.
Even he thought striking Ham@ss whould spoil Kerry’s chance to get a peace prize and waited until Abbas went into a Unity Government with Ham@ss and violated the peace processs going unilaterally to the UN for recognition.
I am sick and tired of people who murdered 3 boys in cold blood and kidnapped a soldier during a cease fire for whining about civilian casualties. The ones who believe it are the same ones who killed Jews in Inquistions, shipped them to concentration camps and for a thousand years led pogroms against Jews and denied them any Human rights.
