Nuclear Threat: Beijing's strategic military buildup continues with the unveiling of a road-mobile missile capable of delivering up to 10 atomic warheads anywhere in America. Time to show some flexibility, Mr. President?
While President Obama was playing the back nine, and as it was confirmed that the Russians had developed a cruise missile, the R500, which violates 1987's Intermediate Nuclear Forces treaty, the Chinese were busy as well. They now have a mobile intercontinental nuclear missile with no other purpose than to make war against the U.S.
The announcement of the DF-41's existence was not exactly approved by the Chinese government. As the Telegraph reports, the inadvertent original government Web post appeared to have been deleted on Friday, but the Chinese newspaper Global Times, which seems to have a penchant for revealing Chinese military developments, posted a screen capture.
The Telegraph account notes that the DF-41 is designed to have a range of 7,500 miles, according to a report by Jane's Strategic Weapon Systems, putting it among the world's longest-range missiles.
The Pentagon said in a June report the new missile is "capable of carrying multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicles," as many as 10.

Maybe I should move to one of those guano islands south of Mexico...
President Obola and his entourage really must have p!$$ed off Beijing during their last trip.
Yeah but after they nuke you with one of those you’re hungry again in an hour.
Mebbe Øbola didn’t bow long enough or low enough.
Targeting capabilities courtesy of Bill Clinton and the Democrat Party.
How do you say “boomer boats” in Chinese?
Baloney. 15 years ago they couldn’t really launch a missile successfully, and then Clinton’s helped them to launch short range missiles. It takes a lot longer than that to get long range missiles, especially with 10 MIRV.
There would have been rocket launch signatures all over their country for the last ten years to get that ability practiced and provable.
COULDN’T HAPPEN. At least that’s what people ON THIS SITE kept telling me for the PAST DECADE. You see, China is a BACKWARDS country and would NEVER be able to be a threat to us. Therefore NO NEED to press with upgrading our defenses against them, nope, they will NEVER threaten us, I was told, here.
I was PARANOID, I kept being told.
Nonsense. It's useful for both intimidation purposes and against Russia as well. It's no secret the Chinese have ambitions in Siberia and Africa and also consider India a nuclear adversary.
China cranks out more math PhDs then the rest of the world combined, been doing it for years. No surprise that they continue to roll out major weapons programs every year, they don’t have the red tape and the sluggish lazy US government complex to hold them back.
China has had that cabability for a long time. I posted some info with links maybe about 10 years ago.
How they gonna eat em?
I heard all the North Koreans had their teeth extracted in response to Virus Z

Yea, but their eyes are slanted, therefore nothing to worry about. LOL. I remember 30 years ago observing how Chinese seem to do REALLY WELL once their outside of China (as in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and the US) and wondering what would happen if the Chinese in China ever had a chance to be left alone to do the same, considering how many there are...we’re getting that answer now.
