Sheriff lyin’ king steps to the lectern and as the women folk turn away and gasp says, “Pardon me while I whip this out”. And produces his phone and pen. (Thanks to Mel Brooks and Cleavon Little in Blazing Saddles.)

God bless Jeff Sessions.

And just look how ‘conservative’ Scalise turned out to be. Pfft. This wasn’t just amnesty, this was amnesty ad infinitum. This would have effectively dissolved our borders by saying illegals can simply claim they are threatened, or an INTENTION to file for asylum, and become immune from deportation.

"His comments carry great weight," Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) told National Journal.

Well, what does that tell you, Scalise? And who's on this "whip team?"

The state-run media pinned this on Ted Cruz to further demonize him. Not that Cruz wasn’t involved, but Sen. Sessions from AL seems to have saved the day this time. They both deserve a note of thanks today.

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), who will become the new House Majority Whip on Friday

I hope after the sheet was thrown off the turd and exposed yesterday, Scalise spend his sleeping hours having a nightmare about the forces that targeted Cantor focusing on him.

“Scalise was reportedly frustrated that many House Republicans ‘decided not to back the bill after being lobbied by Sessions,’ because the bill ‘does not itself contain language to freeze Obama from expanding his unilateral deferrals.’ A member of Scalise’s team told the outlet that when Sessions went to the House to oppose Obama’s amnesty and ensure American workers were protected, ‘it gummed everything up.’”

Yeah, we wouldn’t want to “gum up” things by freezing Soetoro’s expansion of unilateral deferrals, would we Scalise?

These blasted conservative/tea party types are always throwing a wrench into the works.

Very proud of my senator, and have been for years.

The last time I watched a major network news broadcast was Katie Couric’s debut on CBS. Is anyone aware of how much, if any coverage Senator Sessions has received on ABC/NBC/CBS during this most recent illegal immigration crisis?

I wish the House could get its act together and pass a bill to provide the funds necessary to expedite the return of these invaders before they leave for the recess. Otherwise we just give weight to the media meme that the House GOP can’t get anything done.

Unfortunately, they keep trying to add language that would make the problem worse by making it easier for illegals to get legal status, etc., instead of just focusing on the problem. So if it comes down to a bill that makes the problem worse or no bill at all, I will reluctantly choose no bill at all. I am definitely not one who will advocate that they do ANYTHING as long as they do SOMETHING.

The news promotes the drama, but refuses to write one, single piece on the actual bill and its contents.

That’s all that I need to know.

Exclusive - Polling Data Shows GOP Voters Think Republicans Standing Tough On Immigration Most Important Issue

Matthew Boyle 31 Jul 2014 1089 post a comment
Polling data compiled by Tea Party Patriots and provided exclusively to Breitbart News shows that a majority of Republican voters think Republicans standing strong on immigration is more important than repealing Obamacare, getting to the bottom of the Benghazi or IRS scandals—or anything else for that matter.

When asked by TPP’s pollster which issue they think is the important for Republicans in Congress to deal with, 34.6 percent of GOP voters said stopping the flow of illegal immigrants across our southern border. Stopping Obama’s “illegal overreach” with executive power came in a distant second with 24 percent of GOP voters saying that’s the most important, while 23 percent saying repealing Obamacare is the most important and just 7.2 percent say the IRS scandal is the most important issue and 2.8 percent say the Benghazi scandal is most important. A total of 8.4 percent of GOP voters said they don’t know or refused to answer.

Jeff Sessions is the leader, On his own without a need for a special” hat” that declares he’s the leader, He is setting a direction for the rest to follow, and they are. Citizens are also listening, Many called their representatives at his direction.

If he isn’t Speaker or Presidential material I don’t know who is. He doesn’t just sing the song, He’s leading the orchestra
