Former Finance Ministry Consultant who died from Ebola had an Indiscipline Encounter with Nurses after being told he had Ebola; He denied making contact with any suspected case and ran amok when Medical Authorities at the First Consultants Hospital in Lagos tried to contain him; A last-ditch Evacuation effort was blocked by ECOWAS and the Nigerian government, FrontPageAfrica has learned

Why the heck did this man do this? He’d lived most of his life in the US, knew modern medicine and health practices and was not a superstitious villager, so why did he put so many people at risk?
‘Don’t you know who I am?’
Sounds like it.
The news cycle focus on the Ebola outbreak, combined with the non-enforcement at our borders, gives EbolaObama all he needs to declare martial law.
In most epidemic simulations, the exposed and not yet disabled people run.
As far as they can, for as long as they can.
Transport-category aircraft amplify the problem.
Dont you know who I am?
Obama’a son...??
Panic? Denial?
From the article:
“Sawyer was seen with blood on his clothing after his sisters death and had earlier demanded that she be placed in a private room. President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf cited indiscipline and disrespect as a key reason why Sawyer contracted the Ebola virus. She said his failure to heed medical advice put the lives of other residents across the nations border at risk.”
I’m an RN, so that’s probably why I’m chasing Ebola stories. Can’t help myself.
I remember when I had to start IV’s on AIDS patients and wore double gloves. I was very nervous. I can’t imagine the fear involved in starting an IV on an Ebola patient.
The desire to survive is built into our genes.
If Sawyer had his siter's blood on his clothing on July 7th, he was likely a walking Ebola transmitter for almost 3 weeks until his death. Nifty.
He was naturalized US citizen working for the Finance Ministry of his native Liberia.
He must have really been in denial because he was trying to get to his family. He would have infected them all!
I had heard the same about him.
Supposedly Africans have physical contact with dead bodies as a cultural thing. He did have intact with his sister’s body after death. After death is when ebola patents are especially virulent.
I think the guy just lied.
Yes, and he lied about this contact.
Supposedly physical contact with the dead is a cultural trait of Africans. I guess he wasn’t afraid of getting sick fem it.
From the comments:
Excerpt from Richard Preston “A classic sign of infection by Ebola is a certain expression that invariably creeps over the patients face as the infection progresses. The face becomes fixed and expressionless, masklike, ghostlike (in the words of doctors who have seen it), with wide, deadened, sunken eyes. The patient looks and sometimes behaves like a zombie. This happens because Ebola damages the brain in some way that isnt known. The classic masklike facial expression appears in all primates infected with Ebola, both monkeys and human beings. They act as if they were already embalmed, even though they are not yet dead. The personality may change: the human patient becomes sullen, hostile, agitated, or develops acute psychosis. Some have been known to escape from the hospital.”
This would explain peeing on hospital personnel.
This guy got on an airplane infected with this, and now authorities are tracking 30,000 vectors from 200 passengers. This is very alarming.
Hospitals across the country are struggling with a shortage of one of their essential medical supplies.
Manufacturers are rationing saline solution essentially pharmaceutical-grade saltwater. The stuff is used all around hospitals to clean wounds, mix medications or treat dehydration. Now drug companies say they won’t be able to catch up with demand until next year.
Virus at work on the brain. Part of the disease process. Horrible as it is blood borne and possibly pneumonic, or aerosolized.
Dead on description of Pelosi.
Oooo sure sounds like they might have snuffed him at the second hospital. You don’t mess with nurses like that even in the best of circumstances.
“Don’t you know who I am?”
Yea,you’re the first person I’m going to shoot today if you don’t setle down.
