Any defeat for Putinista Russian chauvinism is a good reason to dance a jig or have a good drink! Igor Girgin is a FSB agent. He may cut-n-run now that the Putinista army is taking a whipping.

If the Ukrainian (oops, I mean reactionary fascist) Army is truly making gains, that would explain why the FR Borscht Brigade is whining for a ceasefire.

Igor Girkin, a Russian citizen who is the top defense official in the separatist Donetsk People's Republic
civil war.

If Putin rolled the rest of his army thugs over the border, you wouldn’t hear them cry for a ceasefire.
To: Berlin_Freeper
Russian chauvinists like Girkin and our local Putinists consider Ukraine to be a part of Russia. So for them this is a civil war. Too bad for them Ukrainians decided to fight for their country.

Putin has poor judgment. His reaction to more failures might be to engage in more acts of terrorism.

Time to make the Russian people personally suffer for the choices they endorse.

Nope. It would be like the invasion of Georgia all over again, with all the hoopin' and hollerin' (and claiming it's really America's fault).
I don't think they'll try to convince us that the Ukrainians are Muslims, though, as they did with the Georgians.

Lithuania The Minister only roughly outlined the sanctions on the table in Vilnius, including the ban on entry for Russian citizens who support Russias policy in Ukraine, ITAR-TASS reports.

....reactionary fascist Army Yabut they're OUR reactionary fascist army. Question is, if they really throw a beating to Putin's Pals, what will he do?
I think all Putin wanted was The Crimea. Maybe his Russki Rebels ain't as smart (or as tough) as he thought. BTW, as in any Civil War, neither side is really the side of the angels. There are enough vowel-deprived nasties on the ground to throw a 5-sided Civil War, with maybe a jihad or two extra.
Who would be Czar these days, just in case?

Looks like this is becoming Putin’s Vietnam.
‘Course, If he ramps it up he’ll do just fine. He’d better do it while the leader of the free world is on vacation - the next ~3 years.

You're so funny. You remind me of a teenaged girl who has a poster of her favorite boy band singer on her wall. I suspect you have one of Putin on your wall.
Don't cry when you finally figure out he's even as big a fraud as Obama and much more dangerous.

I think the FR Borscht Brigade is like the Left that used to run all over the world whenever another commie crank came to power, like Castro, the Sandinistas, and Chavez. They’re a little too emotionally committed to people, so much so that they forget loyalty to truth.
