Even though Obama richly deserves to be impeached, convicted and removed from office, you are absolutely correct. Politically, this is not the time.

Emotionally, legally, and in every other way, it way past time.

Impeachment proceedings would be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It would galvanize the left. It would divide the Republicans, and it would not result in a conviction in the senate.

It would be a political disaster, which is why the leftists want so badly for it to happen. I don’t even believe Obama is planning to make these immigration steps.
